Nativity woodcutSouth Arm (Lady's Chapel)

St. Mary, I find in you that purity that is Immaculate and I rejoice in our Lord. If thou wilt be our companion and Mother keep us from all that would shame your Son. I have placed your picture over my television set for I would not pollute my soul with this world's sickness.

You were the first to believe in Christ, and at the cross He seems to have given you to all Christians as a Mother. Oh pray for your little ones. The lions and wolves in bishop's mitres are ready for the destruction of the innocent lambs.

Thou great one who appeared to St. John in the sky crowned with twelve stars and glowing as with the sun, crush underfoot our ancient Enemy and draw us close to thy maternal love always.
